Windows/Linux Server Support Technician
Job Description:* We pay 100% for A+ and MCSE Certifications! * * We pay 100% of medical premiums - benefits start on Day 1! * For this position, with a world-renowned computer manufacturing company, you will be performing a wide variety of server support activities in a large-scale, high-performance computing environment.Your responsibilities will include: Analyzing desktops, hardware, software, and operating systems Performing backups, archives, and recoveries Building machines from scripted images Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues Creating/maintaining documentation Working with vendors for warranty issuesJob Experience: 4+ years related work experience Solid network administration and troubleshooting skills, including hands-on experience with a variety of hardware platforms Experience with inventory, shipping and receiving, and technical troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, and servers Server-level administration skills with Windows Knowledge of TCP and networking principles A+ REQUIRED Experience with Linux is a plusMinimum Education Required: Some CollegeYears of Experience Required: 3-5 Years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
