PURPOSE ' Implements and manages programs initiated in developing the strategic direction and programming to achieve a Health & Wellness culture to support the control of long-term health care costs and improve the long-term health of employee and retiree populations. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES ' Leads the implementation and management of a Health & Wellness program that encourages healthy behaviors and lifestyles.' Works closely with Total Rewards leadership to develop Health & Wellness goals and programs supporting delivery of tools and resources to achieve targeted outcomes.' Implements a measurement system to ensure effectiveness and demonstrate a return on investment of the Health & Wellness programs.' Provides leadership to a corporate wide, cross-functional Health & Wellness project team. Works with this team in the development and implementation of various health and wellness programs.' Communicates to leadership, employees and retirees through multiple medias healthy lifestyle information and programs, leading to a change in culture in which employees feel valued and that the company truly cares about their health.' Assists and plays an integral part in the identification and selection of all Health & Wellness vendors including the definition and implementation of vendor performance objectives.' Provides on-going management of all contracted Health & Wellness vendors. ' Keeps abreast of health, benefit, and regulatory trends and identifies their impact on health and wellness programs and manages this information through the organization.' Additional projects and duties as assigned. (including surveys and participation in Wellness Award Certifications for the company) ' Compensation and benefits knowledge of plan design and legal/regulatory requirements. ' Technical knowledge in Human Resources area(s) of expertise. ' Skill in project management.' Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution. ' Analytical skills. Education: ' Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience required. (4 years or equivalent))' Degree in a Human Resources discipline or equivalent experience. (4 years or equivalent)Relevant work experiences: ' Compensation and benefits development experience. (2 - 5 years)' Experience in designing and administering employee benefit plans. (2 ' 5 years)' Experience in Project management and business planning. (Small strategic projects)ADDITIONAL INFORMATION' Must recognize the need for, and apply, discretion and appropriate security measures when handling confidential and sensitive information including HIPAA and other regulations.
