                   Salary:  $21.68- $29.07 / Hourly DOQ

Do you want to work in a unique law enforcement unit as aWelfare Fraud Investigator with limited peace officer powers? We are seeking amotivated, self-starter to investigate the existence of fraudulent receipt ofaid which includes following-up on referrals of suspected fraud. Special Investigators will also refer casesfor criminal prosecution and perform related work as required. The incumbent in this classification is alsosubject to overtime, standby, and callback assignments. Position requires two (2) years ofinvestigative experience, which included interviewing clients, writing detailedcase reports and preparing or presenting evidence or information in court oradministrative hearings, OR two (2) years of experience interviewing andindependently determining eligibility for public or private social services,medical services, insurance, loans, or related programs.
