Web Editor/ Copy Writer

With over 50 offices in North America and 10,000 employees worldwide, Ajilon Consulting is a company full of opportunities and exciting new challenges.Copy writer and editor will be responsible for researching, writing, editing, and maintaining website and other electronic content (emails, e-newsletters, banner ads, etc.) to address user needs, enhance client's customers' online experience, promote key offerings and support client's brand positioning.Develop and produce electronic content that reflects online usability best practices. Apply excellent editorial skills to develop copy and integrate text, design and content organization/navigation to optimize the user experience and achieve business objectives. Work in close partnership with internal clients, account managers, designers, user experience designers and technical experts to ensure content, design and technical requirements meet business and user needs. Proactively review electronic content and recommend usability improvements, including content clarity, brevity, calls to action, and streamlined online navigation. Ensure web content meets established editorial, quality and industry standards for web usability and accessibility. Candidate will apply AP Style and web and print editorial guidelines to all projects. Work with technical team to address challenges in displaying and integrating content with online customer service applications. Job Experience:Excellent writing and editorial skills. Strong understanding of and familiarity with AP Style Guide, and associated grammar, punctuation, style and copyediting rules.Bachelor's degree or higher in English or related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in web content development. A solid understanding of current industry standards and techniques for digital content management. Strong relationship management skills - individual will be interfacing with internal clients with demanding requirements and with creative staff to ensure high quality work and flawless, timely delivery.
