Initial customer traffic is driven by the sweepstakes from email, banners, co-registration and other online direct marketing. Then, through a variety of list-building techniques and surveying, pch.com creates rich customer profiles. pch.com provides customer acquisition services to other marketers via unique survey and list-building components of the business. The online platform holds tremendous potential and revenue for pch.com and is anticipated to grow significantly over the next several years. As a result, pch.com is a major element of the Company's annual and long-term strategic focus. PCH is currently seeking an experienced ‘Web Designer,’ with contemporary design sense, to design, program and update HTML emails and marketing landing pages. Candidate will work as part of a team under the supervision of our head web designer and department managers. Individual will interact on a daily basis directly with copywriters and our image asset coordinator, while working efficiently and effectively with our legal, marketing and technology departments to develop promotionally effective online direct response marketing campaigns. This is a temporary to permanent position, on site in Port Washington.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
(Essential Functions)
- Design and development of promotional materials for online contests, magazine mailings and merchandise email campaigns and promotions, targeting new and existing customers.
- Organization and maintenance of project files, templates and images.
-Ensures images are delivered to the viewer at sufficient high speed and quality
- Creates image links and codes pages, ensuring page functionality is correct before they deploy, troubleshooting any problems which might arise
- Associates Degree or higher or 1-3 years directly related experience
- Quality Portfolio
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Must be Fluent in Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, HTML and Dreamweaver, CSS, Flash
- Javascript and/or ActionScript a Plus
- Excellent current knowledge on online practices
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to efficiently manage time and schedules while involved in various projects at one time.
