Job Description:Ajilon Consulting is looking for a Web Analytics Analyst for our client in Northbrook, IL. UPDATE 9/12/08: MUST BE PROFICIENT IN EXCEL AS A COMPLIMENT TO HBX (HITBOX). THE CLIENT USES EXCEL TO ASSIST IN THEIR REPORTING. Description:As a Web Analytics Analyst, responsibilities include all aspects of internet web analytics effort including web traffic tracking, data capture, processing all data for analysis using measurement models, developing new web measurement reports and models. A successful candidate will also be responsible for applying their business knowledge, communications and facilitation skills to the above. Primary Responsibilities include:Provides web analytics support for internet sites. This position is responsible for all aspects of internet and intranet web analytics effort including web traffic tracking, data capture, processing all data for analysis using measurement models, developing new web measurement reports and models. Role includes analysis, use of existing internet measurement tools and operational tasks. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Assisting users in accessing and interpreting their data and providing reports that support their business needs. -Provide in-house product support. -Candidate should be familiar with web operations infrastructure, measurement tracking, and internet utilities including the ASP web analytics solution Omniture's HBX application. -Provides expertise to multiple areas of the business. Job Experience:Experience required: -Proficiency with Omniture's HBX (Hitbox) tools and Microsoft Excel -Web analytics experience including web usability -Experience utilizing tools to track, measure and report website measurements -Demonstrated supporting of business clients with Web Analytics -Skilled at interacting directly with clients from problem definition through implementation with a demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between the business and consulting tasks -Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment -Web marketing and online web systems development and deployment Statistical analysis - 3+ Yrs. experience with HTML - 3+ Yrs. experience with Internet BrowsersYears of Experience Required: 3-5 Years
