Warehouse Operations Coordinator

'Monitors and reviews all inbound, outbound and delivery functions for warehouse operations.'Monitors productivity, accuracy and compliance using reports, meetings and daily work data. 'Seeks and develops continuous improvements in operations and efficiencies to meet company goals and objectives. 'Communicates verbally, electronically and in writing with supervisor, peers and subordinates.'Trains and educates employees on systems, policies and procedures.'Assists in interviewing, selection, hiring, counseling & disciplining of staff as required.'Interprets and administers collective bargaining agreement in conjunction with Operations Manager and Human Resources.'Assists in building maintenance and security.'Monitors OSHA compliance, safety and housekeeping programs.'Assists in protection of Company assets (inventory, equipment and real estate) in accordance with policy. 'Performs weekly methods observation of warehouse employees.'Participates in monthly safety meetings. Bachelors Degree or 2-3 years related work experience necessary.Frequent standing and walking on hard surfaces. In/outdoor environment.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance procedures and reports. Ability to write basic reports and memos. Ability to speak before groups of employees or customers.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, decimals and fractions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out directions given in verbal, written or diagram form.
