WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - 3rd Shift

Murata Electronics North America, Inc., a leading international electronic components organization is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor for our Rockmart, Georgia office. This is a great OPPORTUNITY to join an exciting company and to become a part of a winning team!



The successful candidate’s primary responsibility of this position is to supervise all internal receiving, shipping and warehousing functions and personnel.

 

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

- Supervise and direct all daily operations of warehouse with emphasis on Shipping and Receiving.

- Provide input for developing and maintaining written procedures in conformance with ISO 9001 and TS16949 quality system guidelines.

- Provide input on personnel duties as required: hiring, salary/performance reviews, approval of overtime work, time card management, etc.

- Develop internal shipping and receiving processes with a focus on efficiencies, quality and cost effectiveness.

- Other duties as assigned.

 

Education & Training:

Bachelor's Degree plus 3-5 years applicable work experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Requires a strong understanding of the shipping/receiving process, custom bar code labeling, inventory management, USSO system and ISO-9001/TS16949 compliance.  Also must be able to effectively manage employees while performing other management duties as required.

 

Requires the ability to successfully read, communicate verbally and in writing in English.
