Validation Specialist/Engineer

Job SummaryHaving reached a high level of technical expertise, has primary responsibility for execution of validation projects and oversees Validation projects and junior level staff. Based on engineering specifications, performs validation projects that includes authoring protocols, executing validation protocols and writing reports of validation results. Responsible for ensuring that current validation best practices and compliance expectations are integrated into all work performed by the group. Represent the validation engineering department as subject matter expert on validation expectations and requirments for assigned projects. Responsible for keeping manager informed of status of all assigned projects.Job ResponsibilitiesLeads projects by developing Validation master plans, schedules, resource loading, and other project deliverables as required. Based on engineering specifications, performs validation projects of more technically complex nature on equipment or processes that includes authoring protocols, executing validation protocols, and writing reports of validation results. Represent the Validation engineering department by writing Validation Program Plans based on validation philosophies. Provide technical leadership on cross-functional investigation teams. Review and approve Validation protocols and summary reports generated by Validation staff against standard procedures and policies. Provide guidance to Validation staff writing protocols and final reports. Leads a cross-functional team in developing Validation best practices, standards, and guidelines, which includes exploring new techniques, methods, and other industry practices. Basic QualificationsMinimum of BS degree in scientific, engineering, or computer field. Training in applicable equipment/system engineering and validation best practices. Minimum of 6 plus years of relevant Validation Engineering experience with a BS Engineering degree and 8 plus years with a BS Non-Engineering degree. Minimum of 4 plus years of relevant Validation Engineering experience with a MS Engineering degree and 6 plus years with a BS Non-Engineering degree.
