VB.net/C# developer-contract
Job Description:Need an experienced web developer with strong .net experience for a 3 month assignment- starting in early October to help convert existing application from VB and C# 1.1 to 2.0 framework, development of new features in the migrated application as defined by the project documentation, and integration of newly developed features with another legacy .NET 1.1 application as defined by the project documentation. Some SQL stored procedure creation and/or modification will also be required.
Job Experience:* At least 5 years experience in object oriented, n-tiered, ASP.NET development * Experience with both Visual Basic and C# and versions 1.1 and 2.0 of the .NET framework. * Experience with the development of client-side Javascript for .NET web controls. * Proficient in Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2000. * Experience with authoring stored procedures for SQL Server 2000* Ability to interpret and apply technical concepts from requirements documentation and functional specifications to their code.Years of Experience Required: 3-5 YearsExpected Travel Time: None
