US Tax Manager

A very dynamic, public international company with offices in Salt Lake City is looking for a US Tax Manager.

The US Tax Manager will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of quarterly federal and state income tax provisions and returns. Duties will include:Analyzing and reconciling accounting data.Preparing work papers to support the returns.Assisting in the preparation of federal and state estimated income tax payments.Gathering information for state and federal income tax audits.Responding to correspondence from state authorities.Researching and completing other projects as assigned.To be considered for this position, Candidates must have the following qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. A Masters in Accounting or Tax, or CPA is preferred.Four to eight years of industry or accounting experience. Previous experience in the high tech industry in the tax area or public accounting tax experience is preferred.Knowledge of US federal and state income tax principles.Experience preparing federal and state income tax returns and supporting work papers.General knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion or equivalent transaction systems, processes, and practices.Good to high level spreadsheet and other PC application skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to perform required tasks with minimal supervision.This is a full time, permanent position with a stable company. The salary is $80-115K per year commensurate with experience plus bonus and benefits.
