Job Experience:RequirementsAt least 7+ years of User Interface Design specifically with a strong trackrecord in interactive design and development.Resume must include an online portfolio or links which exhibits:q The ability to visually communicate and provide a positive userexperience by designq Strong working knowledge of taking designs to interactive prototypeswith use of client-side languages such as XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, and FlashCandidate without an online portfolio will not be reviewed.Candidates considered for the position will be given an assessment projectto test knowledge and proficiency.Primary RoleWill join Interface Design and Development team and will follow directionfrom Senior Interface Designer to deploy creative design talents, front-enddevelopment skills and well-rounded experience for the following:q Collaborate project team members which may include: projectmanagement, other designers, editorial, internal business teams,information architects, and development teamsq Balance a variety of small, mid-sized, and large projects in a fastpaced environment.q Juggle a wide range of deliverable which may include: websites, flashads, or mini-applications, while following business requirements, technicalspecifications and design guidelines.Required Skills & Knowledgeq Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and exhibit strongcommunication skills to help provide synergy, timeliness and quality ofworkq Must be able to work in a fast-paced environmentq Strong sense of design through the use of color usage, graphicaltreatments, and choice of typography whilst developing user-friendlyinterfaces.q Ability to create rough designs to final designsq Expertise in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator to createglowing comprehensive design mockups.q Ability to animate designs in Flash or ImageReady.q Possess strong ability to interpret and hand-code the followinglanguages, without the use of a WYSIWYG editor: XHTML, JavaScript,Cascading Style Sheets, and Flash ActionScript.q Knowledgeable of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutionsq A good eye and judge for color and graphical treatments along withthe ability to enhance photos/graphics.q Ability to be creative while working conforming to style ordevelopment guidelines and standardsq Seasoned experience with using content management system(s)q Ability to collaborate with others and work independentlyAdditional responsibilitiesq Form-based design, navigational schemes, and layout templates driventhrough the use CSS and JavaScript.q Create production-ready XHTML/JavaScript valid code for use inserver-side pagesq Create functional elements such as buttons, input fields, etc, whichadhere to style standards and/or best practices.
