Travel Trainer
Position Overview:
The Travel Trainer position will assume responsibility for the effective and consistent delivery of new hire training programs, as well as skills development/ enhancement training for tenured staff. The successful candidate will have travel-specific training experience and will be proficient in Sabre systems.
Responsibilities: Facilitate all new hire, refresher, and client specific training programs.Prepare and manage all training logistics within the learning environment (examples include: confirm room books, supplies, system and people set up, etc.).Deliver initial expectation setting discussions with trainees. Evaluate and coach individual as well as class performance via feedback and preparation/delivery of action plans.Document and communicate trainee performance concerns with individual trainees as well as department’s Learning Manager.Determine the most effective manner to develop and/or enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities related to any performance concerns.Measure and track personal and class success and productivity impacts.Build partnerships with Service Delivery and Quality Assurance teams to continually improve the transition process for new hires.Use and review training effectiveness tools as well as learning methods that could enhance the experience for all learners.Collaborate with internal partners to ensure all curriculum updates are accurate and on time as per process.As requested assist with design enhancements and ensures new hire training materials and personal knowledge remains up to date.
