Training Specialist III
Position Summary: The Training Specialist III is responsible for providing training support and for managing the training program at MedImmune’s Biopharmaceutical facility located in Frederick Maryland. This individual’s core responsibilities include designing and delivering site-specific technical and cGMP training. The individual is expected to possess broad knowledge in the areas of training program design training course delivery adult learning principles e-learning concepts/tools and curriculum architecture. Due to the nature of the role the individual should also have strong customer relationship skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills. The individual is also expected to collaborate with customers and the Corporate Training function in order to champion training improvements that help advance personnel efficiency productivity and technical skills at the site. Additionally this individual will be responsible for managing the automated training database providing site training metrics and supporting regulatory agency inspections.Essential Job Functions:• Design develop and deliver training initiatives for the site• Partner with customers to create/modify training curricula for all levels in the organization• Apply knowledge of e-learning concepts and software to create computer based training tools• Manage implementation of technical and cGMP training initiatives• Coordinate schedule and publish the monthly training courses• Maintain metrics on all aspects of the Training ProgramAdditional Job Functions: • Periodically enter training data into the training database and perform spot audits of the documentation• Maintain the hardcopy training file archives• Liaison with training colleagues customers and vendors to indentify training initiatives or improvements• Support regulatory agency inspectionsPhysical Demands:Lifting Limits: Up to 50 lbsTypical Education:B.S./B.A. in biological sciences physical sciences engineering science education or equivalent focus of study.Typical Experience:Minimum of 5-7 years in a training role within a commercial/clinical biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical production setting.
