Training Coordinator

Title: Training Coordinator    Unit: Energy Cranes, LLC

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for coordinating all aspects of training, both internally and externally.

Selling company products, including training.  Evaluate current market conditions, as well as initial and follow-up contacts with existing and potential customers.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.   Plan and coordinate crane operator assessments and training sessions.

2.   Interface with customers and trainers.

3.   Monitor training programs and process required paperwork.

4.   Provide training when required.

5.   Keep management advised of any potential crane sales/service opportunities.

6.   Assist in problem resolution between customers and service.

7.   Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers of oil companies, fabrication yards, engineering design/consulting companies etc.

8.   Ensures that Energy Cranes, LLC is on the “approved vendorsâ€� for crane sales and service.

9.   Monitor the timing of potential sales opportunities and keeps management advised in an effort to coordinate activities that may be necessary in ensure Energy Cranes, LLC maximizes opportunities.

10. Anticipate and communicate market opportunities to management as to position Energy Cranes to participate as appropriate.

11. Know and understand Energy Cranes LLC’s Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

12. Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.

13. Perform other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1.   Ability to review customer training requirements.

2.   Ability to coordinate trainer availability with customer needs.

3.   Knowledge of API 2C and 2D requirements.

4.   Communication skills – written, verbal and listening.

5.   PC sills (knowledge of Microsoft word/excel products).

6.   Ability to work with deadlines, prioritize and multi-task.

7.   Ability to be a liaison and coordinate between departments.

8.   Self-started with ability to analyze problems and make decisions.

9.   Ability to effectively communicate with outside customer queries and requests.

10. Some travel required.

11. Understand and participate in team approach.
