Currently, we are seeking an experiencedMechanical Engineer IV to support the (insert role/ typeof work) in (insert Sector/ Group) in (insert location).Position Summary:Mechanical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate, design,develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processesin a manner that meets safety and performance expectations.The Mechanical Engineer for this role will provideleadership and creativity in exploration, design,development, optimization and implementation of majorprocesses and systems in (insert role/ type of work).Candidates must have expertise across multipletechnologies in both staff and plant environments and willhave a demonstrated ability to effectively provide workdirection to a broad range of team members. The incumbentreports to an Engineering Team Leader and receivesdirection in the form of broad assignment objectives. Keycustomers include: (insert key customers).Responsibilities:1) Lead single or multiple product or process improvementprojects with a financial scope of up to $30 million fromconception to commercialization.2) Provide functional leadership and creativity in theinitiation, design, development and optimization of (insertproduct forms) converting and manufacturing equipment andprocesses to meet unit objectives.3) Develop knowledge and skills so as to be recognized forexpertise and functional leadership in application ofengineering principles, scientific analysis and projectmanagement while providing advice and counsel to others.4) Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes,policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and wellbeing of operators, maintenance and other personnel.5) Seek, recognize, define and solve problems/opportunities to achieve unit objectives. Identify complextechnical issues to determine root cause. Explore,initiate, design, optimize and develop manufacturing andsupporting processes.6) Participate in the development of others within the areaof the incumbent?s expertise.Qualifications:1) Candidates must possess a bachelor?s or advanced degreein Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringTechnology from an ABET accredited College or University.Candidates with a bachelor?s or advanced degree in arelevant scientific discipline and possessing applicableexperience may also be considered.2) Demonstrated continuing self-development or progresstoward an advanced degree.3) A recognized expert in (insert role/ type of work) witha demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge intoexecution of process and capacity improvements in majorcapital projects.4) A minimum of 12 years of experience in a variety oftechnical or operational assignments.5) A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teamsto achieve project results within required timeframes.Preferred Qualifications:1) 15+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staffassignments, including maintenance and operations.2) Experience and expertise with Kimberly-Clark (insertSector/ Group) engineering technology, procedures,processes and products.Click here to apply via the Kimberly Clark Career Opportunity PortalExpected Travel Time: None
