Tier I Help Desk Support needed in Colorado Springs!

As a help desk specialist you will utilize your training to provide Tier I technical customer support for D.O.I.M. IT environments to include LANs and WANs and remote access tolls. Problems encountered and the resolution of these problems shall be documented in the trouble call Remedy database for historical tracking and reference. Successful candidates must have the ability to:
- Respond to customer trouble requests and problem calls received by telephone, electronic mail, or generated from automated software Remedy.
- Respond to other customer questions that may arise via electronic mail and other remote means.
- Resolve customer issues using automated remote control software where necessary.
Required Software Knowledge:
Microsoft (2000, XP, and 2003)
Microsoft Office Suite (2003/2007)
Remedy
Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft Active Directory
Required Hardware Knowledge:
Support of printers, scanners, and other peripherals
Multi-vendor PCs and Monitors
Selected candidates must possess a current active Secret clearance and A+ certification. This is a long term contract opportunity with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
