Textile laboratory opportunities in the Chicago area.  We are looking for experienced textile technicians to help us grow our testing business.  These are full time career opportunities  Below are outlines of the open positions:

Physical/Mechanical Specialist- Strong 3 – 5 years of experience in physical lab environment to performs tests such as tensile, tear testing, thread count, yarn number.  BS degree in Textiles along with a strong knowledge of garment and fabric construction is required for this position.

Flammability Specialist – 5 years experience working with textiles in a flammability lab required.  BS degree in Textiles along with knowledge of regulations and methodology.  Must be able to perform testing and serve as technical resource for the team.

Coloration Specialist – 3 years Dye chemistry, textile finishes and testing experience.  BS degree in Textiles helpful but can be substituted with in depth work experience. 

Fiber Specialist – 5 years fiber microscopy experience.  BS degree in Textiles or Chemistry helpful but can be substituted with in depth work experience.  Fiber Identification, Fiber Chemistry and knowledge of fiber finishes key for this position.
