Telecommunications Architect

Job Description:Come work with the brightest talent in IT and Telecommunications with Irvine Technology Corporation.We are looking for the following: Telecommunications Architect12 Month contractHourly DOEStart ASAPSan Antonio, TX.This position provides enterprise level, technology leadership, long term direction and coordination for voice communications initiatives, focusing on Contact Center Technology. Activities include,New technology research, evaluations, pilot development, product recommendations and project leadership. You will act in a facilitative role towards the development and implementation of various areas of enterprise planning to include:Standards and guidelines, processes, methods and best practices. This involves coordinating across multiple teams throughout the enterprise.The position also provides 3rd level support to operational areas.The ideal candidate will have the following:Five years experience in voice communications network design, large systems installations and project management. Experience in a large, complex IT environment in a large IT organization with multi-platform technical environment and complex, technology projects is required. Possess strong technology skills in voice communications for Contact Centers. Experience with Aspect Contact Centers is desired. Knowledge of IP Telephony and Unified Messaging is helpful. An understanding of local, long distance and 800 carrier products and features is also required.
