General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for application support, configuration and administration activities related to international and domestic Sales and Marketing, Technical Services and Customer Service functional areas within CRM (Customer Relationship Management) deployments. Primary responsibilities will include testing, supporting, troubleshooting and maintenance of existing and future Siebel CRM applications. Position will requires frequent interaction with application end-users and/or other IT organizations within Alcon as appropriate to resolve IT CRM related issues.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, math or equivalent technical training with 2 to 3 years with information systems analysis, design, and project management, development, implementation, and maintenance across multiple hardware and software platforms. Required skills include theoretical and practical knowledge of GUI development tools, relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, office productivity software, multi-tiered application development, and structured programming techniques; mature interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences; and ability to accomplish complex technical investigation, design, programming, and troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science, information systems or math with 2 or more years of experience in an information technology related position. Specific experience with CRM software such as Siebel and Microsoft SQL Server database technologies is preferred.Position Success Factors: Customer Focus; Business Acumen; Planning & Executing; Problem Identification & Resolution; Communication; Teamwork; and Results Ownership.
