Technical Editor/Desktop Publisher
MacroSys offers exciting careers for professionals at all levels. We're currently looking for a Technical Editor/Desktop Publisher.This position is a great opportunity for someone with strong training, not too many years of experience, but with good potential. Some qualifications for this position include: Higher education in technical communication or related field. Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Will be asked to verify proficiency. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 3 (especially InDesign). Will be asked to verify proficiency. Ability to edit a range of documentation types, performing substantive editing, copy editing, and proofreading based on standards of various, professional style guides. Proven ability to interact diplomatically with clients and team members while working proactively on independent tasks. Strong organizational skills and ability to balance competing priorities and workload for multiple concurrent documentation projects.
