Systems Administrator 2

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at CGI. CGI is seeking a Systems Administrator 2 to serve in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Specific Duties:
Be responsible for providing system administration support for servers, storage and networking components for an environment that hosts a collection of J2EE applications that access a variety of data sources.
May also be responsible for planning, equipment staging or the development of shell scripts.
Duties include administering servers running the Linux, UNIX and Windows operating systems.
This experience must include, but not be limited to, installing/loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity and configuring network components, configuring firewalls, and basic hardware assembly.
Responsible for implementing operating system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance for the systems.

Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and a minimum of 5 years experience is required.

Additional Requirements:
Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required.
At least 5 years of recent Linux (RHEL) experience, and 5 years of Windows and Unix administration
Installation/deployment of software applications
Demonstrated proficiency in shell scripting
Candidate should have experience in network security to include firewall administration
Network Appliance Filer administration
Apache 2.x web server configuration/administration
Tomcat 6.x configuration/administration
Cacti configuration/administration (knowledge of SNMP)
Nagios configuration/administration
CVS or SVN configuration/Administration
MySQL configuration
Demonstrated proficiency in Perl and Python

Preferred:
Familiarity with BEA WebLogic administration a plus
Familiarity with Oracle administration
