Job Category:  Engineering Reference Code:  US_EN_1_025158_7580265 Location:  Naugatuck, CT 06770 Job Status:  Temporary/Contract/Project Job Description:Requirements include set up, adjust, prove programming and operate numerically controlled and computer controlled machine tools to perform a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications. Ability to recognize and report technical variations in program and operational sequences, tool settings, dimensional and finish deviations, defective material, faulty equipment and assist with or individually make corrective adjustments. Make minor equipment repairs. Use micrometers, scale, protractor, calipers, verniers, surface gauges and indicators, etc. to make set ups and check work to maintain quality of parts being machined.Work from programming, operational data drawings, part drawings and set up instructions defining and coding tool arrangements, fixturing, material clamping methods, machine calibration and console settings for operations such as bore, mill, drill, face, thread profile and contour.
