Our continued success and growth has produced a need for Department Manager position in our Westbrook, Maine location. Job Description:· Responsible for implementing programs designed to achieve or exceed objectives in the areas of revenue, sales, service and margin, measuring against market potential and expected budgeted results. · Responsible for managing the districts suppression department Profit and Loss statement to an approved financial plan, which includes operating expenses, accounts receivable/collections, manpower, capital, and inventory. · Responsible for the identification, selection, and development of potentially new and existing customer accounts.· Assign effective performance measures and motivate employees to achieve and exceed objectives in a professional, timely, and effective manner.· Organize and develop an effective team to successfully deliver service and to grow the business. Develop on-going, two-way communications with employees, the result of which will foster a positive employee workplace Minimum Qualifications:· BS, BA degree or equivalent experience required · P&L Experience - $2M +· Organized and action oriented individual that is able to deal with ambiguity. · Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly gain credibility with executive level clients. · Ability to utilize computer technology.
