RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves within the organization as: Supply Technician for Property Management Team (PMT)  in maintaining the overall government contractor property system from acquisition to closure.  Knowledge of the following regulations (but not limited to) is required;

FAR/DFAR

DOE

ITAR

NISPOM

Top Secret Clearance RequiredMaintain an electronic database of government property records for Prime and alternate contractors.  Responsible for the safeguard and security of government material; Sensitive and Non-sensitive. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or  obsolete material. Monitor GFE tracking of government property and review reports.Assist in Preparation of interim, annual and closeout reports for continuous maintenance of acquired property for government customers.Assist in preparing reconciliation reports for items that are not produced during an annual physical inventory.Coordinates property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government property in accordance with applicable government regulations and corporate policy. Coordinates delivery of material to the customer and transfer of material to internal customer.Conducts physical inventory of government property; analyzes and is the focal point for correction of discrepancies. Provides guidance on government regulations to others pertaining to property accountability. Interface with functional organizations to facilitate the integration of property management processes.  Coordinate government surveillance and initiatives within assigned area and respond to customer inquiries. Assist in maintain the SCM scrap process.Work with customer to process Property schedule for Turn In – created reports, and updating data base to reflect DRMO assets.Compile monthly data submitting reports to Property Manager.Assist in Defense Contract Management Administration audits as required by the government.Provide possible new vendor information to purchasing for review in adding to supplier list.Work to further develop Property module for Growth within the organization.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

U.S. citizen

· 2 years of experience in property management

· Strong organizational skills

· High level of attention to detail

· Technical Writing; able to evaluate/analyze problems to resolution

· Diligent on follow-up and resolving problems

· Experience dealing with  auditors

· Good communication skills, both written and oral

· A High level of PC experience– Excel and Access a must

· Some Project Management skills

· Must demonstrate values on a consistent and on-going basis

· Able to acquire a Top Secret Clearance
