Supervisor - CMO/CPO
Job Description:
This position is within the Project Management Office (PMO), which is a unit of the National Cash Automation department. The PMO monitors, assesses, and generally oversee the various projects associated with the Currency and Coin Handling Environment (CACHE) program. The primary role of the Supervisor is to provide leadership and direction for staff responsible for completing CACHE program oversight and communication activities, as well as supporting transition and readiness activities.
This position will interact with internal and external constituents, various levels of management (including senior management) and project teams at the local, District, and System (national) level.
Position Requirements:
3 -5 years of management experience, working in a fast paced environment. BA/BS Degree or equivalent, 3-5 years of department or analyst experience or combination of 2-3 years analyst experience and specific education or experience in department Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to identify and implement new processes and procedures that improve quality, efficiency, and or overall effectiveness of the team Attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking initiative to address problems and to act on opportunities Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work effectively in a variety of situations Strong time and project management skills Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels (including senior management and official staff in the Twelfth District and throughout the System) Ability to diagnose problems, analyze issues, identify and evaluate options, and communicate results clearly Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
·Manage an analytical team responsible for collecting and analyzing data from individual projects and then compiling and reporting out this data into a comprehensive program view.
·Hiring, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
·Supporting the identification and implementation of strategies or tools related to ongoing program activities to ensure consistency as well as efficiency of reporting across all CACHE related project teams and allow for transparency of efforts to key stakeholders.
·Providing leadership and direction for the development and management of program artifacts, plans and schedules and their timely updating and distribution.
·Support the development of transition and readiness activities on monitoring plans
·Ensuring that project dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed.
·Monitoring all aspects of the program so that emerging issues are identified and communicated timely.
·Working with team members ensure compliance with all Technology Project Standards and Application Development Methodologies
