Position: Supervisor

Duration:  Full- Time  Location:  Technicolor Michigan  

 

 

EDUCATION

Candidate must also have high school diploma and excellent oral and written communication skills.

 EXPERIENCE

• 3 – 5 years High volume manufacturing experience supervising a team of 30 or more employees is preferred

• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word and the ability to quickly master proprietary order and inventory management computer systems is required

• Good verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills are required

• Must be very flexible; overtime is required based on workload

• Demonstrated leadership, team building, communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive employee relations style with the ability to manage performance including motivating and coaching

• Strong math, analytical and logistics skills

• A High School diploma is required; some college course work is preferred

 RESPONSIBILITIES

•Supervising line leads, machine operators and material handlers in all packaging activities. 

• Ensure adequate staffing for per production schedule.  Motivate employees to achieve productivity targets.

•  Ensure production schedule is adhered to throughout the completion of work orders. 

• Monitor daily efficiencies and production reporting.  Manage adherence to company policy and procedures including

the quality control policy and quality management system (ISO 9002) by leading by example.

• Train employees on workplace safety, continuous improvement programs (TIPs) and workplace policy and procedures

• Human resources administration including payroll, performance appraisals, administration of company policies and procedures
