Stress Engineer

Yoh Aviation has an opening for a Stress Engineer located in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 12-18 month contract with per diem.

Position Responsibilities:
• Construct models and perform analyses of engine components, rotor systems, and/or whole engine structures using classical and finite element techniques. 
• Specify, coordinate, and support experimental work and engine testing. 
• Review and reduce test and experimental data to correlate with analytical predictions. 
• Prepare and present oral and written technical presentations.

Position Requirements:
• BS in Engineering is required (MS or PhD preferred). 
• This position requires a familiarity with gas turbine engines. 
• Experience with component dynamics modeling in ANSYS is strongly desired. 
• Experience with Whole Engine Modeling preferred. 
• Strong communication skills are required.
