We currently have career opportunities within Wyeth’s Internal Audit organization for Staff and Senior Auditors. These positions are located at our corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ.In these positions, you will interact with financial and operational management personnel in U.S. and International Divisions across the corporation where you will be exposed to the company’s sizeable financial and business operations. You will need to be able to interact with various management personnel across the organization and to facilitate the audit process. The Senior Auditor is also responsible for overseeing the Staff Auditors on auditing projects and ensuring adherence to guidelines. Your specific responsibilities will include the following:*Review and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in effect at subsidiary/affiliates.*Review and evaluation of the affiliate’s compliance with corporate policies and procedures.*Preparation of work papers to adequately document audit work performed and to support conclusions reached.*Preparation of audit scopes and reporting of audit findings.*Formulation and follow-up on recommendations for management.*Review and evaluation of various financial reports submitted by subsidiaries/affiliates.*Special projects and reports for management (as assigned).*45-50% travel from March through November (35-40% annual).Qualified candidates must possess:*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.*CPA certification (or have passed parts of the exam).*At least 3- 4 years financial audit experience in an international or nationally known public accounting firm.*Successful candidates will possess strong analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. *Exposure to pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing industry is highly desired.*Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus. Relocation is not available for this position.
