POSITION:  Staff Accountant – Cleveland, Ohio (Regional Office)

 

The Midwest/ South Central Region of Ampco System Parking has an opening for a Staff Accountant at their Regional Office operation in Cleveland, Ohio.  These  full-time positions are available immediately. 

===================================================================RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversees the day-to-day financial functions for an assigned Branch

· Prepares bank reconciliations

· Reconciles general ledger accounts

· Prepares journal entries

· Follows up on financial issues involving Branch statements, reports, etc.

· Prepares, reviews, and distributes monthly Landowner statements.

· Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings

· Maintains files and documentation for assigned locations

· Conducts audits

· Prepares sales tax returns

· Assist Senior Accountant with various projects and other duties as assigned

 REQUIREMENTS

· Previous accounting experience

· Bachelor degree

· JD Edward experience helpful

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
