Sr. Treasury Analyst
SENIOR TREASURY ANALYST, REQ. # 31593

The department of Treasury Operations seeks an individual with excellent computer skills, analytic abilities, and knowledge of financial concepts as well as superior communication skills to fill its available Senior Treasury Analyst position. Treasury Operations is responsible for cash management, banking products and relationships, eCommerce, debt management, School as Lender program, investment of short term working capital, other miscellaneous investments, processing gifts of securities, and special projects.
The duties of the Senior Treasury Analyst will include: Monitoring Tufts´ debt portfolio and assisting the Associate Treasurer in issuing new debt; Handling responsibility for leasing at the University and working with departments to review alternatives if they wish to lease equipment; Reviewing performance of perpetual trusts managed by outside trustees; Reviewing short term investment alternatives and managing the short-term portfolio; Reviewing and managing investment of reserve funds held under bond agreements; Projecting cash flows and investment income for working capital funds; Performing financial analyses for special projects.
Basic Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Ten (10) years of related work experience OR an M.B.A degree with seven (7) years of experience
3. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have experience working in a Treasury Operations or Treasury office.
