Candidates should have experience with TCP/IP, including multiple connection handling and multi-threaded development. As a senior software developer, the candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience, and should be capable ofworking independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.Qualification Requirements:Education:BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceExperience:5+ years of relevant industry experience in component-development with strong programming and design skills.Skills:- Ability to do the module analysis of VB6 for conversions and do the modular design- Strong C#, VB.NET - Experience with TCP/IP, including multiple connection handling and multithreaded development.- Strong SQL database experience with ADO.NET- Experience with SOAP, XML Web Services, Network Programming- Very good understanding of OOPS and follows methodologies in normal coding practices- Able to work independently and good problem solving skills- Fast learner, good written and spoken English- Ability to work under pressure- Experience in network programming with a good knowledge of file and data transfer techniques. (desirable)- Experience with the following file sharing network protocols: P2P (eDonkey, BitTorrent, Gnutella, Ares), newsgroups, HTTP, IRC (desirable)Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited, to, the following:- A software developer proficient in C# and VB.NET who will be directly coding and creating business logic and unattended applications with 24/7 up time, Web Service Interfaces, and Database Stored Procedures and tables.- Working with the team to deliver on the customer requirements- Software design, implementation and documentation, module testing and system integration- Prepare technical documentation such as Design Specifications, Unit Test- Timely deliveries of high quality software as per established softwaredevelopment processes.
