For more information visit .General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for providing Bio-analytical support for Alcon projects, including Toxicology, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics and Marketing Support. Responsibilities include support for compliance activities in Bio-analytical Development and the PKDM unit; minor equipment verification and maintenance, inventory and/or maintenance of laboratory reagents, control matrices, and standard reference materials; Toxicokinetic sample handling for the PKDM unit; assembly and shipment of sampling supplies for Clinical Pharmacology studies; laboratory data verification; ensuring GLP compliance in all aspects of laboratory work; and proactively soliciting new tasks from Bio-analytical Unit Head and other analysts as assignments are completed.Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate degree within the scientific/technical discipline with no applicable years of experience; OR Master's degree within the scientific/technical discipline and usually 4-5 years of applicable experience; OR Bachelor's degree within the scientific/technical discipline and usually 8-9 years of applicable experience.Position Success Factors: Customer Focus; Planning and Executing; Communication; Teamwork; and Innovation and Creativity.RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE.Our generous benefits package includes the Alcon 401(k) Plan which matches employee contributions up to 5% of eligible pay at the rate of $1.00 for each dollar contributed, and the Alcon Retirement Plan (ARP), a qualified plan in which Alcon contributes 7% of eligible pay to the accounts of all eligible employees.
