For more information visit .General Description: Under general supervision this position will: 1) Develop and validate MSmethods for raw materials and finished products. This includes identification of impurities, packageleachates and degradation products. 2) Conduct MS characterization of new drug substances, analyticalreference standards and experimental raw materials. This includes identification of synthesisimpurities, residual solvents, residual metals and degradation products. 3) Conduct non-routine MSstudies as required for problem solving or project/program support. 4) Write Technical Procedures andTechnical Reports to documents MS studiesMinimum Qualifications: Either: 1)Doctorate degree within the scientific/technical discipline andusually 6 years experience OR 2) Masters degree within the scientific/technical discipline and usually9-10 years applicable experience.Relocation Assistance is available for this position.Our generous benefits package includes the Alcon 401(k) Plan which matches employee contributions up to 5% of eligible pay at the rate of $1.00 for each dollar contributed, and the Alcon Retirement Plan (ARP), a qualified plan in which Alcon contributes 7% of eligible pay to the accounts of all eligible employees.
