Capital One is hiring for Risk Managers and Senior Risk Managers to manage risk in a local business area. Responsibilities include leveraging risk management methodologies and frameworks to baseline risk levels, as well as creating and distributing risk-related reporting to leaders and stakeholders. May manage a team of associates, depending on the needs of the business area. Responsibilities: Manage risk in local area, including leveraging tools to create transparency into risk levels. Resolve risk events stemming from process breakdowns Implement new compliance or risk initiatives sponsored at a corporate or division level Prepare for, coordinate, and respond to internal and external audits Create and disseminate reporting and metrics related to the risk environment Identify and resolve problems impacting customers or resulting in a regulatory violationJob Experience:Basic Qualifications: • 4 year college degree • 4 years experience supporting risk management, audit, or compliance activities Preferred Qualifications: • CRCM, CAMS, CIPP, Risk Management Certification • Audit experience • Mortgage experience • Retail banking experience • Commercial banking experienceNo agencies please.
