Sr. Oracle DBA

We are looking for a Sr Oracle DBA in Parsippany, NJ for a Contract to Hire position.




Mentioned below are the job description:-


Job duties:

· Oracle 10g Database Management

· Install and Upgrade Oracle 10g Databases

· Install and Upgrade Oracle 10g GRID

· Database design & tuning

· RMAN back-ups

· 24X7X365 Support

· Project Management

· Prior Experience:

Experience:

· 8+ years experience in the I.T industry

· 5+years experience as an Oracle DBA

· Oracle 10g Certification is a plus

Skills required:

· Grid Control (formally Oracle Enterprise manager (OEM))

· DataGuard (formally Standby Database)

· Oracle Streams or Oracle Data Pump

· Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL

· Familiarity with Perl and Java

· Familiarity with Windows and UNIX operating systems

· Familiarity with Windows batch scripts and UNIX shell scripts

· Oracle Enterprise Manager experience

· Technical Writing Skills.

· Must be highly motivated and demonstrated high level of initiative.

· Solid communication skills
