And now, with Quill.com responsible for nearly 70% of annual sales, Quill is competing among the largest e-tailers in the world. Quill is seeking an integrated marketing professional with B2B sales organization planning experience to lead its growing education market programs. The Senior Market Manager will plan and direct the execution of education market programs through multiple channels including an inside sales team, both local and remote, direct mail and web-based tools. Overall job scope is identifying opportunities with support from education Market Manager and Director and sales management team. Create initiatives through understanding of unique school market dynamics. • Create a cooperative partnership /association strategy and execution plan. Champions the Quill brand within the public sector core team for managed accounts, associations, bids & cooperative programs. • Work with cross functional team to establish school specific sales and margin goals for each program and mechanisms for tracking progress. • Develops, implements and manages continuous enrollment and enrollment conversion activities• Develop approach for promoting site compliance and penetration• Budgeting and forecasting all related marketing costs• Lead group to establish appropriate measurable objectives and continually monitors / adjusts to maximize results. • Build process for assessing existing and new customer agreement profitability.• Partner in identifying and driving system enhancements, collaborating with internal IT partners and external vendors when appropriate.• Identifiy and coordinate marketing support materials with assistance from Market Manager. • Build structure for overall schools market bid strategy and develop plan for execution through sales channels.  Qualifications:Minimum of bachelor’s degree; MBA or MS in related field preferred.8+ years direct marketing experience, preferably combination of B2B and B2C. Can be combination of agency and corporate client-side. Proven applied experience with the development and execution of branding across multiple sales channels.Proven ability to use data analysis to formulate business decisions. Complete understanding of B2B direct marketing model with experience targeting unique submarkets/segments. Natural leader who is experienced in communicating effectively with senior leadership.Strong persuasive communication style.Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and achieve results through teams of direct and/or indirect reporting relationships. Able to collaborate and influence outcomes in a cross-functional setting. Able to identify most critical business priorities and organize resources around them. Applicants must be authorized and, except in extenuating circumstances, readily available to work in the United States for purposes other than practical training and without the need for employer sponsorship of non-immigrant work visas.  Qualified candidates apply!
