Responsibilities will include: FM or Computer Operations, Communications, Marketing, Up-selling, and Administration. The incumbent is responsible for the optimal use of resources to achieve sales and profit potential and to meet contractual obligations.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Achieves budgeted jurisdiction lottery profit margins and revenues Develops and plans the annual operating budget for lottery operations. Analyzes operating and financial reports to monitor actual performance against budget forecasts. Develops short and long range plans to maximize growth and profit. Assist the regional VP in developing jurisdiction objectives and ensures compliance with objectives. Develops and effectively executes comprehensive account penetration plans, strategies, and contract renewals. Leads in the introduction of new games and system enhancements. Ensures the provision of timely, efficient and appropriate service to current accounts. Negotiates major requirements, deadlines and concerns with lottery officials. Devises alternative methods to improve efficiency and profit and to enhance GTECH market posture. Promotes client relations by meeting with potential and existing customers in the appropriate jurisdiction to demonstrate products and standards of GTECH Reviews and assigns staffing for each functional organization. Develops personnel for growth and to advance the jurisdiction's depth of business and technical knowledge.SCOPE Complexity: Functions Responsible for or InfluencedFully responsible for operations and sales within a single accountGENERAL Frequency and complexity of internal business contactsActs as primary liaison between GTECH and state/jurisdiction lottery officials to maintain and ensure excellent customer relations. Physical (% time: travel, operating machinery, environmental etc.)Travel as necessitated by opportunities within the geographyRequirements: EDUCATION Minimum education Four-year degree or equivalent level business experience. Years ExperienceIn-depth knowledge of the industry and of the specific geographic market in which the business operates, minimum of 5 years.
