Xilinx is a significant player in the semiconductor market for Medical Imaging and Diagnostics and is seeking a dedicated, self-motivated, marketing professional for the position Medical Market Manager within the Products and Market Development group.The primary role of this position is to manage and drive Xilinx activities in the Medical Market with responsibilities including - Owner of the Medical Roadmap and Medical Business Plan - Determine Strategic direction for Xilinx in the Medical Market to enable deeper market understanding and increased market penetration - Forecast revenue in the Medical Market - Assist sales in closing key Tier 1 target customer through system level engagements - Foster partnerships with the Medical ecosystem including Data Converter vendors, medical service providers and IP vendors - Creating Sales Readiness Kits to position the Xilinx Horizontal IP, Devices and Tools to Medical customers - Perform market research to understand the emerging trends in the Medical market - Work with Silicon and IP teams to provide needs for the target Medical submarkets - Travel requirements to customers and partners estimated at about 25% of time. Job Requirements -  Bachelor¿s degree required and MBA is desired - Position requires at least 7-10 years experience in the Semiconductor Market and/or Medical Imaging market - Relationships with Medical Customers is an added bonus - Experience in sales and product management - Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated relationship management experience with ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines. - Strong communication skills with an ability to efficiently communicate both orally and in writing. - Proven task management skills to include planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management and plans execution.   About UsProgrammable Logic is Our Business Xilinx leads the Programmable Logic Device (PLD) market - one of the fastest growing segments of the semiconductor industry.
