Job Description:Position: Senior Linux Systems EngineerClearance: TS - LS poly . The position required an individual highly skilled in Linux system architecture / administration and kernel tuning with exceptional leadership skills. The qualified candidate should be charismatic enough to take a leadership role in a highly skilled technical team, and should excel at organizing and managing complex lists of open issues both with customers and with back-end Engineering support. Job Experience:*Please only apply if you have an active TS/SCI lifestyle poly. Applicant selected must currently possess an active U.S. government Top Secret/SCI security clearance w/ full Lifestyle polygraph. . Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.. Professional certification in RedHat Linux a plus. Must have a strong background in planning, installing, administering, and troubleshooting RedHat Linux Clusters. Must have a strong background in Kernel Tuning. Experience with Storage Area Networks a plusSkills preferred:. Excellent communication skills. Independent problem solver . Strong Consulting skills . Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitive, goal oriented, motivator. Experience in working with internal and external partners .
