This position is a huge impact on the bottom line of this company. As a member of the Finance team, employees act as a full partner in making and supporting business decisions that are aimed at maximizing shareholder value. Numonyx Finance will have a strong focus on facilitating change and improvement both within Finance and in the Operations supported. Responsibilities include: Negotiation support for RAM (Memory) spends and Assembly Test Subcontracting spends. This is a huge portion of the overall Cost of Goods Sold of Numonyx Balancing the Sourcing organization between a Healthy Supply Chain, Low Cost for Numonyx, and proper negotiation controls The successful Analyst will lead analysis and direction for cost reduction programs that support profitability in the Numonyx global sourcing group Long Range Planning, Benchmarking, and Budgets and Planning processes Analyst will ensure alignment and coordination with Operations, support HC and spending forecast, oversee Close Cycles and provide financial reporting to both Finance and Operation management The Strategic Analyst partners closely with Operations to identify and execute cost reduction opportunities. Work with the Division to align on Plan Of Record (POR) and the Long Range Plan (LRP) volume and price data SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Strong communication and analysis skills. Must have the ability to condense huge amounts of data into 3 clearly articulated sentences. Tolerance for massive ambiguity. Willingness to travel internationally on average, 4-6 times per year. Detail oriented and methodical in execution. Must possess the capacity to be concise and accurate on the “Science” of the job (spreadsheets, aligning system data, etc), as well as have the ability to balance the “Art” of the job (what does this mean and what should we do about it). Should possess an M.B.A. or a Bachelor of Science degree with two to four years experience.
