Location: Orlando, FL 32826Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend SUMMARYAct as the primary subject matter expert in the area of export laws and regulations, including U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other US Export Laws. Act as the Empowered Official with respect to ITAR compliance.Draft, review and negotiate different contracts, RFQ, Terms and Conditions and other legal documents. Assist in the administration of ongoing contracts; provide legal support to the different departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties maybe assigned. Provide expert advice and guidance concerning the requirements and obligations of exporting under the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as well as US and non-U.S. export laws Prepare, submit and administer export licenses applications and agreements (TAA, DSP-5) for the export of technical data, software, and services in compliance with the export regulations and laws. Perform the inquiries and collect all the information in order to draft the export licenses applications. Review, update, and implement the company’s export compliance policies and procedures. Evaluate the Requests for Proposal/Quotation. Interpret and negotiate the Terms and Conditions. Draft, review and negotiate different contracts (Non Disclosure Agreement, Proprietary Information Agreement, Software License Agreement, Distributor Agreement, Reseller Agreement, Master Agreement for Terms and Conditions, Consultant Agreement). Promote the development and maintenance of positive customer relationships by resolving contractual issues and disputes in an equitable and professional manner. Assist and advise Director, Legal and Operations on contract management operations and export compliance.Education and/or Experience· 4 year degree in Law (preferred), Business Administration, Engineering or related field· 5-8 years of direct Export Compliance experience (to include the ITAR and EAR )· 5-8 years of direct Contract Administration experience including drafting, negotiation, review, and execution processes of contract-related activities.· Experience in the Software industry is an assetADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS In-depth understanding of export and import laws and regulations, including the ITAR, EAR and other global trade laws and regulatory requirements. Ability to apply export regulations to business objectives. Solid experience in drafting and processing export licenses, agreements, reports, and presentations. Demonstrated experience in building and managing comprehensive export compliance policies and procedures while integrating effective compliance requirements within on-going business processes. Ability to Administrate and negotiate several contracts and legal documents at one time with minimum supervision required. Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively and discuss problematic issues with a variety of individuals, departments and organizations; ability to build strong customer service relationships. Strong analytical, organizational and process improvement skills Ability to simultaneously and autonomously work on a large number of complex contractual issues. Proven, organized, and creative approach to problem solving with an aptitude for details and accuracy. Self-motivated team player able to function with limited oversight. · Incumbent must be eligible for DOD Personnel Security Clearance.
