Sr. Compensation Analyst
Purpose:
To design, administer and implement corporate compensation programs, policies and procedures. To recommend,
develop and implement activities that will achieve the organization's desired position in market and compensation
Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs and implements base compensation plans by researching company and market practices,
creating effective implementation schedules and coordinating targeted employee communication programs.
Consults with department heads, managers, supervisors, and employees to analyze, document, and evaluates jobs, as
needed. Applies generally-accepted job evaluation techniques to the approved plan and recommends/approves
grade level changes, per level of approval authority.
Reviews and approves merit, promotional, and special salary increases within approved budgetary limits and
according to established compensation policies. Oversees the processing of pay increases to ensure consistent
application of policy and accuracy of adherence to salary administration policies within Human Resources and corporation.
Reviews and/or designs special compensation programs or incentive systems and approves or recommends for
approval all non-base compensation plans for individual employees or for specific employee groups.
Audits compensation on a regular basis by researching cost and service data, applying standard statistical techniques
to determine cost effectiveness and ongoing feasibility, and preparing management reports and making management
presentations.
Analyzes company plans and policies in relation to government regulations and prepares special communications
regarding potential liability.
Administers bonus programs. Recommends and participates in the development of bonus and pay for performance
programs.
Ensures compliance with all related laws and regulations. Assists in the development and implementation of company
policies and programs related to compensation.
Maintains currency with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and
administration courses, seminars, exhibits and trade shows as needed.
All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and
experience.
Specifications:
Bachelors Degree in related area
Minimum 7 years experience
Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred
