Sr. Benefits Analyst

Administers the Company’s benefits plans, including medical, dental, life insurance and retirement, etc. for employees and dependents. Will be responsible for conducting open enrollments and prepare benefits materials to ensure and enhance employee understanding of benefits, entitlements, and claim submission.Researches and determines eligibility, entitlements and accommodations on employee claims. Reviews medical/disability/leave certification and documents. Advises supervisors and management on laws, regulations and compliance responsibilities regarding benefits. Provides written and oral communications on policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Responds to employee, supervisor and management inquiries regarding benefits. Resolves employee benefit issues. Coordinates with insurance carriers, third party administrators, consultants in the administration of benefits and claims. Compiles data and develops reports for monitoring and tracking of monthly and annual benefit costs and trends. Maintains and updates HRIS records. Coordinates with HRIS in customizing and updating benefits software to ensure effective administration of benefits. Develops communications program designed to keep employees informed about company benefit plans and proposed changes.  Ensures programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs.Participates in benefit related national benchmarking studies

 

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree 5 years analyst experience in employee benefits administrationProficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint with working knowledge of database programs Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skillsAbility to problem solve and work independently.Working knowledge of a HRIS system, preferredMust be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentBilingual a plus!
