Southeast Regional Sales Manager

A Pennsylvania based waste-water treatment capital equipment manufacturer seeks an enthusiastic and aggressive Southeast Regional Sales Manager.  The company requires a sales oriented, customer focused, company advocate to sell direct to key clients as well as manage a number of manufacturers’ representatives throughout traditionally long equipment/ system sales cycles.  Successful salesperson must be able to work to company and territorial business plans, and know how to sell and support activities in highly technical equipment sales environments.  This sales territory includes the states of VA, NC, SC, TN, GA, FL and AL. Job Responsibilities Â·  Develop, grow, support and guide the sales efforts of manufacturers’ rep forces.  ·  Sell direct to assigned house accounts. ·  Use company technical engineering assets as required to support targeted sales efforts.·  Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers in assigned geographic area.  Work to assure that short and long term sales goals are achieved·  Provide accurate and meaningful marketing information, forecasting and product planning from customers’ points-of-view.·  Provide a level of sales professionalism to achieve high degree of customer satisfaction·  Plan and manage travel schedules. Job Requirements Â·  Technical capital equipment sales background.·  Two or four year degree or equivalent practical sales experience.·  5+ years experience in major OEM capital equipment sales - wastewater and environmental equipments/ systems a plus·  Strong understanding of good business practices and effective sales techniques.
