Test Engineer: Fast paced technical test position in a software development group testing software and documenting procedures: The testing is done primarily in very large, three tier web based applications (Written in .NET) running on Microsoft 2000, 2003, and XP. The back end is SQL server. Seeking:. Proven track record of testing experience. Knowledge of formal QA and testing methodologies. Experience writing test cases. Good interpersonal communication skills Profile:1. Software Testers are responsible for being the key contributors to testing, and documenting software applications. 2. Duties: . Write and execute comprehensive Test Plans. Write and execute test scripts. Write and execute load testing scripts. Assist Development Team with IT related tasks. Support the team during the progression of software at build time. Support the IT needs of the team in establishing performance metrics. Test the application for operational readiness. Work alongside software Developers to maximize efficiency and quality and eliminate errors. . Demonstrated ability to work within an established timeframe to complete projects.. Participate in technical evaluations as a member of a project team.3. Skills:. Solid communication skills, written & verbal.. Effective communication with peers and ability to multitask and work in a team environment with a "can-do" attitude.. Familiarity with database applications (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access) . Knowledge of Windows operating systems.4. Experience:. Minimum: Ability to demonstrate knowledge / experience in testing software applications. . Preferred: One year of imaging conversion application experience. One year software tester experience.**No third party vendors or 1099 contractors.
