At Millennium, we're big on results, not formality.Position Summary:The position, Software Engineer, Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting data warehouse, business intelligence, and other systems data integration solutions. This job requires a broad understanding of data integration tools, systems administration, and business processes with a focus on quality, consistency and reliability of the end-products. Candidate must be hands-on, technically proficient, and customer service oriented.Duties and Responsibilities:Collect and document business information requirements.Design and document logical and physical data models optimized for operational and analytical processing and/or reporting.Design, develop, and test Informatica ETL processes and programs that extract, transform, load, and cleanse corporate data.Perform daily operational activities including job monitoring, troubleshooting, and data analysis.Collaborate with other team members to employ methods that ensure the availability, integrity, and accuracy of data.Qualifications:Basic qualifications:At least 3-5 years experience in systems/data integration or data warehousing.Preferred qualifications:Demonstrated experience and proven technical proficiency in the development of ETL mappings/workflow using Informatica PowerCenter.Experience using Oracle RDBMS (9i or greater). Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required: oral and written communication, ability to work independently and collaboratively, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.Superior analytical and problem solving skills: Quality, attention to detail, and proven data analysis skills are critical.Experience with the various data warehouse logical & physical design considerations (Kimball / Inmon / dimensional models / star & snowflake schemas).UNIX scripting - strongly preferred.Experience using Cognos BI / reporting tools.Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industries.Finance, Sales and Marketing, or Human Capital Management domain/systems experience.Click here to immediately applyWant to learn more about us?
