Software Design Engineer TEST3

Job Description:Here is your opportunity to get in at the design stage of this team's test infrastructure development, and to have a say in the design and development from the ground up as part of the team that is building the next generation community-based content infrastructure for publishing on various properties at a world-renowned software company.Your responsibilities will include: Designing development test and support of the publishing infrastructure individual components Designing and developing the tools necessary for systemwide testing Preparing test design documents for software release projects Designing and executing test cases and unit tests, also including API testing, UI test automation Designing, developing, and implementing automated test cases Developing testing tools for better test coverage and efficiency Preparing test environments for software release projects Recording software defects in a defect tracking database Participating in triages and interact with the development and program management team for resolution on defects Promoting intra- and inter-team contact and cooperation through interactions with program management, test, and production support Working closely with the user education and international teams to analyze requirements, review specifications, and create test plans Operating in a Scrum environment and working closely together on the teamJob Experience: 2+ years experience in c# development and testing Fluency and up-to-date experience in C#, SQL. ASP.NET, webservices, XML/XSLT, and VSTS or TFS experience is nice to have but not required Experience with testing search and Indexing is a plus Proven record of identifying product flaws and driving them to resolution Experience reviewing and analyzing product requirements, specifications, and designs Strong problem solving skills and passion for technology Proven record of communicating well with developers, testers, and program managers Customer focus and strong advocacy for all customer related issues Participation in an entire product lifecycle, preferably for a Web-based product.
