SharePoint/MOSS Applications Administrator

Job Description:For this contract-to-hire position, you will perform applications systems support and project-related activities for the enterprise MOSS of this not-for-profit health care company.Your responsibilities will include: Performing software installation and configuration, problem analysis, and troubleshooting Developing and executing test plans Planning and implementing the installation, configuration, integration, testing, and management of application and technical infrastructures Providing technical Tier 3 support integrating database, network, and web components Identifying and resolving problems affecting reliability, availability, and supportability Providing technical assistance and direction for application analysts Consulting and collaborating with business and IT staff and management Monitoring, analyzing, recommending, and implementing service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction, resource utilization, and overall satisfaction with Intranet Designing, developing, training for, and implementing tools and processes to enhance the manageability, usability, and performance of the Intranet application Leading the design, development, implementation, and management of an application security program Monitoring system performance and overall statusJob Experience: 4+ years related work experience Experience in the development and deployment of a significant multi-functional ERP application Experience with PC software and LAN environments Experience with Windows 2000 Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel) Experience with relational databases Experience with the deployment of applications over internal Intranets Understanding of finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and e-recruiting Familiarity with web application development and deployment Ability to maneuver through complex political situations Keen attention to detail Solid decision making and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Economics Minimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: 3-5 Years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
