SharePoint Administrator

Job Description:For this contract-to-hire position, you will install, configure, and support the SharePoint Server 2007 solutions for some of the biggest and best names in the technology industry.Your responsibilities will include: Working with clients to prototype solutions Designing and constructing SharePoint solutions Managing site rights and permissions Providing operations support for SharePoint sites in the production environment Planning and developing portal technologies within client environments Monitoring portal usage (including access, load, and usability issues) Planning and implementing disaster recovery strategies Training clients, technical staff, and user communities Documenting and analyzing required information and dataJob Experience: 2+ years related work experience Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 2007 Experience with Web application technologies (ASP.NET, Ajax, JavaScript, XML) Experience in a full software life-cycle Experience in development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, Waterfall) Experience with consulting (or software firms providing solutions to clients) Ability to articulate a vision and bring consensus across disparate participants Understanding of application architecture, databases, and system design Understanding of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and client/server architectures Understanding of technical design specifications Familiarity with Use Case documents and business process models Solid communication skillsMinimum Education Required: AssociateYears of Experience Required: At Least 3 Years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
